Advanced Certificate in Interior Design
Individuals already holding an undergraduate degree may consider our advanced certificate in interior design program.
If you are ready for a new career in interior design or wish to update the design experience you already have, the advanced certificate program may be a match for you.
Career counseling and advising by the program director, an NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) certified designer, is offered to all participants in this program. Students may choose from all interior design course offerings in the Mercyhurst College Catalog which includes courses in studio training, CADD training, rendering and graphic presentation, and specialized courses such as Environmental Design, Materials Systems and Assemblies, Color and Lighting. Selections must honor required pre-requisite courses. Upon meeting with the program director, an individualized plan of study will be developed from the course offerings to help you pursue and achieve your career goals.
